Therapy & Brainspotting

For the woman who has spent years taking care of everyone else. It's finally your turn.

Maybe you're the one everyone depends on. The one who keeps things moving, who solves problems before anyone else notices there's a problem. From the outside, your life looks successful. A career, people who love you, a life plenty of people would admire. And you're exhausted anyway. Not because you're weak. Because you've been carrying more than anyone realizes, for longer than anyone realizes. You don't have to keep carrying it alone.

My Approach

My Approach

For nearly thirty years I've helped women move through burnout, perfectionism, anxiety, trauma, and the quiet exhaustion that comes from always being "the strong one." We won't stop at another coping skill. My approach draws on Brainspotting, CBT, nervous system regulation, mindfulness, somatic work, and shame resilience, whatever actually fits what you're carrying. This is a space where you don't have to perform or have the right answers. You just get to be human.

Brainspotting

Brainspotting: When Talking Isn't Enough

Sometimes you understand exactly why you're struggling, and nothing changes anyway. That's because insight alone doesn't always create change. Brainspotting is a brain-body approach that helps your nervous system process what talking alone often can't reach. It's not only for major trauma. It's just as effective for burnout, anxiety, performance pressure, and the kind of chronic stress that builds quietly over years. A session is gentler than people expect. No pressure to relive anything, no need for the right words. Just space for your brain and body to do what they're built to do.

This Work Might Be Right for You If...

  • You feel responsible for everyone else's wellbeing.
  • You struggle to rest without guilt.
  • You know exactly what to do, and still can't seem to do it.
  • You're navigating burnout, divorce, grief, or another major transition.
  • You've done "the work" and still feel stuck somewhere your mind can't reach.

I keep a limited private practice so I can give the people I work with real, personalized attention. If it's not the right fit right now, I'm always glad to help point you somewhere that is.

Let's Begin

You don't have to know exactly what to say, or have it all figured out. You just have to take the first step.
